Adrian Sierra is the Chief Executive Officer with Sierra Forensic Group (SFG). His professional experience has provided him with a wide array of knowledge in the areas of accounting, forensic accounting, forensic technology, litigation support, and taxation. Adrian has testified as an accounting expert witness and has prepared expert reports. Adrian has conducted multiple engagements within the United States, Canada, Latin America, Europe, and Asia. His experience includes but is not limited to 10A and SEC investigations, asset misappropriations, kickbacks, vendor frauds, and anti-bribery and corruption investigations, Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA) matters involving due diligence, investigations, and compliance. He works with public and private multinational clients, including Fortune 100 and 500 companies.
He frequently speaks on topics including anti-corruption investigations, comparative accounting, compliance, fraud awareness, artificial intelligence technology and interviewing techniques to a variety of audiences such as to the Office of the City Treasurer - City of Chicago, the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE), the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA), the Wisconsin Institute of Certified Public Accountants (WICPA), the Practicing Law Institute (PLI), the Hispanic National Bar Association (HNBA), the Society of Corporate Compliance and Ethics (SCCE), the DePaul University’s graduate level Fraud Investigations course, the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign’s (UIUC) Forensic Accounting course and Accounting Controls Systems course, and the Florida International University (FIU) Masters of Accounting Program.

Prior to developing SFG, Adrian worked in the Investigations and Forensic Services practice for PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP (PwC). He received a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He also completed an Executive Educational course held at Stanford Graduate School of Business (GSB). Adrian is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) licensed in Illinois, a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), is certified in Financial Forensics (CFF), a Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA), a native Spanish and English speaker and has elementary proficiency in Portuguese.

George P. Farragher CPA, CFE, CFF, is the founder of The Farragher Group, LLC, and a member of Sierra Financial Group's global network. He has over 35 years of experience in Forensic Financial Investigations, Regulatory and Contract Compliance and Risk Assessments. After his retirement from one of the big four international consulting firms where he was part of the Fraud Investigations Practice, he started his boutique consulting firm, His experience and clients encompass various industries, including, construction, manufacturing, banking, and financial services, professional services, government organizations, mining, energy, etc.
Mr. Farragher has completed a variety of engagements, which includes current and recent engagements, including:
· Assisting the State of Ohio, Department of Commerce, Securities Enforcement Division, under a multi-year master service agreement. Under the agreement, he was tasked with working with the Attorney Investigators to gather the facts required to present to a prosecutor to pursue criminal action.
· Engaged to conduct Bribery and Corruption Risk Assessments, and Forensic Due Diligence on a Fortune 500 Corporation’s major acquisition. The engagements encompassed multiple countries and primarily conducted on site, in Brazil, Mexico, Italy, and China.
Other notable engagements include:
· Mr. Farragher Served as a member of the Management Team tasked with the planning phase of the investigation of the Swiss banks for potential dormant account funds belonging to victims of the Jewish Holocaust.
· He was retained as a Subject Matter Expert and consultant on a highly confidential matter, for the U.S. Department of Justice and the Federal Bureau of Investigation, working with representatives of the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation and the Internal Revenue Service.
-Mr. Farragher was also engaged as a member of the management team, by an international economic development bank/organization to assist in the implementation of a global anti-corruption initiative and to conduct various corruption investigations.
Mr. Farragher was honored to be named a Regent Emeritus of the Association of Fraud Examiners and has served as a member of the American Management Association’s Pan-Asian Council. Kerry Haberkorn has devoted her professional career to the field of forensic accounting, which includes over 18 years of experience. She has provided forensic accounting and consulting services to executive level management, boards of directors and legal counsel. Kerry has served as a financial expert witness in litigation.
Kerry has assisted many clients with internal investigations involving fraud, corruption, embezzlement, misappropriation of assets, larceny, as well as disbursement and kickback schemes. She also has helped in matters involving FCPA violations and due diligence and has assisted clients with operations in over 60 countries.
Kerry’s experience includes many construction advisory consulting projects for clients with significant capital project portfolios as large as $3 billion. Some of these engagements involved construction project financial oversight, monitoring and reporting, as well as compliance and financial audits. Kerry has assisted clients with analyses needed to identify root causes of construction project issues that caused budget overruns, schedule delays, scope creep and/or a delayed return on investment. Kerry also supported clients with analyses needed to measure damages associated with disputes and/or litigation and prepared expert witness reports.
Kerry led numerous insurance claim projects where she built financial models used to measure property damage and business income losses following catastrophic events such as fires, floods, tornadoes, theft or even widespread disasters, such as Hurricane Katrina. Kerry assisted clients in documenting property damage and business interruption losses, presenting losses to insurers and advising her clients throughout the insurance claim process. In the event of litigation, Kerry performed analyses and prepared expert witness reports.
Kerry’s experience spans across a variety of industries including automotive, construction, energy, gaming, government, health care, insurance, legal, manufacturing, mining, retail and consumer products, and transportation. Prior to working at SFG, Kerry worked in the Forensics Services practice of PricewaterhouseCoopers. Kerry studied abroad in Vienna Austria during her undergraduate studies and speaks and writes German at an intermediate level.

Dennis S. Medica is a Managing Director of Medica CPA and a member of Sierra Financial Group's (SFG) global network and has over 20 years of experience in providing consulting and forensic accounting services to senior executives, board of directors and legal counsel.
Dennis has extensive experience in financial analysis of complex commercial disputes involving intellectual property, business interruption, professional negligence, business valuation, acquisition and divestiture, employment and various other breach of contract matters. Dennis has served as financial expert for Coca-Cola Enterprises, Inc. and many other well-known companies. He also has experience in forensic accounting investigations including SEC and other matters addressing issues of fraud and corruption. In addition, Dennis has assisted clients with business valuations, turnarounds, complex tax structures and compliance, and financial statement and compliance audits.
Dennis is an adjunct professor in the accounting department of Cleveland State University where he teaches fraud examination (2013-current). He also frequently speaks on fraud investigations, damage quantification and use of financial experts. In addition, Dennis has been interviewed on talk radio in Cleveland on a major fraud investigation performed by the FBI and IRS. He also has been quoted in Crain’s Cleveland Business. Dennis has authored articles on the effective use of financial experts and impact of IFRS on providing legal services.
Prior to establishing Medica, LLC and partnering with Sierra Financial Group, Dennis worked in the Investigations and Forensic Services practice of PricewaterhouseCoopers, LLP for 10 years. His earlier experience also includes working for Cleveland-based accounting firms in audit and tax roles and serving as interim Controller for a manufacturing company. Dennis received his Master in Business Administration from Cleveland State University and Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from John Carroll University. He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in Ohio, Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), Certified in Financial Forensics (CFF), Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA) and Charted Global Management Accountant (CGMA). Dennis also speaks Italian, Slovenian and Croatian.
Samanta Rubio is the Director SSR Consulting (SSR) and a member of Sierra Financial Group's global network. Her professional experience has provided her with a wide array of knowledge in the areas of accounting, forensic accounting, and financial.
Ms. Rubio specializes in fraud investigations/ forensic accounting engagements, specifically in Argentina, for a diverse group of both public and private clients. Ms. Rubio is an integral part in the development of business in Argentina. Ms. Rubio has been heavily involved in marketing and training in Argentina, as well as in the development of preferred provider agreements with key clients.
Ms. Rubio’s case experience has emphasized applying accounting, financial, and general business expertise in forensic accounting and investigative work such as vendor and employee frauds, embezzlements, kickback schemes, financial statement frauds, stock loan frauds, financial analysis, and evaluation of proper accounting treatment. She has worked with various legal teams to conduct international investigations, which encompassed various countries and included alleged Foreign Corrupt Practices Act violations, including due diligence and compliance engagements.
Ms. Rubio’s experience also includes SEC investigations and has led extensive electronic evidence reviews, including the imaging of individual’s hard drives and review of emails and files.
Prior to joining the Dispute Analysis & Investigations Services practice, Ms. Rubio worked for four years in Ernst & Young’ audit practice. She has over four years of work experience in The Federal Administration of Public Revenue, a government agency, as Inspector on external inspections of taxes.
Ms. Rubio graduated cum laude with majors in accounting from the University of Buenos Aires where she was selected as one of its Distinguished Alumni. She is a Certified Public Accountant, Certified Fraud Examiner, and a member of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners. Ms. Rubio has MBA (Master Business Administration) in IAE.
Jim is the President of James E. Bucrek LLC, and a member of Sierra Forenisc Group's (SFG) global network. He has over 40 years of private sector and consulting experience in government contracting with a diversified background in estimating, pricing, cost accounting, billing, contracting and compliance.
In his current role Jim is focusing on assisting law firms and industry clients with federal government bid protests, and litigation consulting and expert witness testimony related to federal and commercial cost claims. He also has extensive practical experience in assisting industry clients with Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA) compliance.
Jim has credible and successful experience as an expert witness for cost matters as he has testified at the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) International Court of Arbitration in Paris, France regarding a $30 million cost claim. He recently testified in an arbitration hearing in a prime/subcontractor dispute involving a multiyear federal government contract. He has also testified before the Armed Services Board of Contract Appeals (ASBCA) in an ADR session relating to a $3.5 million contract cost claim and a Mini-Trial involving defective pricing litigation. Jim has authored a number of affirmative and rebuttal expert reports in a litigation consultant role. While employed as a consultant, he provided the expert government contracts support to the fraud investigation teams assisting two major advertising agencies in addressing criminal and civil false claims brought by the U.S. Government.
Jim spent the first 22 years of his career working in the aerospace and defense and environmental services industries. After holding progressively responsible contract and program management positions at 4 aerospace companies, he served as the Corporate Vice President of Government Administration for a $500 million environmental services firm. His responsibilities included executive oversight and management of all estimating, accounting, billing, contract administration, and regulatory compliance activities for the company’s $2 billion dollar U.S. Government business backlog.
Jim founded the Midwest Region Government Contracts Practice of PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP (PwC) in November 1996 and retired from PwC in June 2014, most recently serving as a Forensic Services Partner based in the Chicago office. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Aquinas College and a Masters of Business Administration in Marketing Management from Western Michigan University. He is an Associate Member of the American Bar Association.
Rosa E. Soto is an Experienced Associate with Sierra Forensic Group (SFG). Rosa has devoted her professional career to the field of accounting, which includes over 6 years of experience. As an Experienced Associate with SFG, Rosa has been involved in various global forensic accounting engagements. Most recently she has applied her knowledge and expertise on matters involving fraud investigations, asset misappropriations, licensing compliance, kickbacks, vendor frauds, anti-bribery and corruption investigations. Rosa has conducted complex interviews, e-discovery reviews, and performed large scale data analysis. Her experience with SFG also includes FCPA assessments, due diligence, and compliance projects for clients having significant global operations. Specifically, she has managed data collection, analyzed contracts, invoices, and other documents for an FCPA assessment project of a multinational organization with operations in over 90 countries.
In addition, Rosa participated in the annual financial audit for a government agency. The audit procedures she performed included collecting and analyzing data, creating excel formulas for testing and the populating audit report deliverable for the client to receive funding from a federal grant. Rosa has also assisted a global insurance broker with property damage and business interruption claim analyses related to natural disasters including widespread hurricanes, tropical storms and earthquakes.
Prior to SFG, Rosa acquired two years of experience in the financial services sector, previously working for the largest U.S. bank, JPMorgan Chase. During her time at JPMorgan Chase, Rosa performed daily transactions on behalf of customers and handled anywhere from $25,000 to $100,000 worth of currency. Rosa was trained to detect common types of checking and savings account fraud and implemented techniques for prevention, applied recommended guidelines and acted upon suspicion of fraud. She also recognized cash-related schemes aimed specifically at tellers and bank customers and methods for prevention, applied knowledge of compliance laws related to fraud and implemented methods to recognize and prevent identity theft.
Rosa writes and speaks Spanish fluently and has expertise translating documents to English. Rosa also has experience serving as an interpreter, previously assisting attorneys in court by translating testimony for Spanish only speakers. She assists in developing internal and external forensic accounting collateral as well as prepares continuing professional education (CPE) presentations for various organizations and clients.
Rosa is a graduate of Northwestern College, where she earned an Associate Degree in Executive Accounting. She is currently pursuing her Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy at DePaul University in Chicago and subsequently plans to pursue a Certification in Public Accounting (CPA).

Joseph has over 20 years of professional experience in both private and public industry. His experience includes assisting companies and their outside counsel with auditing, accounting, finance and internal controls related issues in connection with regulatory proceedings, litigation, arbitration, fraud, investigations, foreign corrupt practices, post and pre-acquisition due diligence / disputes, valuation, and contract compliance audits.
For example, in a recent matter, Joseph assisted in the white collar defense for senior executives in a high profile criminal investigation. Responsibilities included conducting a thorough forensic financial analysis of business records, providing accounting expertise on accounting principles, and compiling findings to assist in client’s defense.
Joseph applied his skills in a litigation matter assisting outside legal counsel defend a breach of contract claim involving compliance with a $100 million spend clause relating to a joint venture between the two parties. He reviewed the companies' books and records, analyzed complex accounting and contract issues, assisted in preparation of interrogatories regarding financial information, identified relevant financial documents in the discovery phase of litigation, assisted in depositions, and evaluated opposing expert reports and testimony.
Joseph has served clients in diverse industries including asset management, apparel, automotive, banking, broker dealers, cable, commodities, contractors, dairy, distributors, engineering, healthcare, industrial products, law firms, manufacturing, merchant banking, mining, mutual funds, private equity, real estate, retail, technology, telecom and time share.
Joseph was formerly a Director for 10 years in the Forensic Services practice at a “Big 4” public accounting firm. Prior to that, he developed deep experience serving SEC registrants and private companies including managing financial and regulatory reporting, and preparing financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
Joseph holds a Masters of Business Administration in Finance from the Leonard N. Stern School of Business at New York University and a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting from Hofstra University. Victor Garcia is a Certified Public Accountant from the Universidad Nacional Autonoma de México and holds a Master of Business Administration from the Instituto Tecnologico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey, Campus Monterrey, He has 31 years of experience in the audit and tax area, serving such sectors as energy, automotive, commercial, industrial, maquila, hospitality industry, mining, construction and charity institutions, among others. Victor served as Senior Manager at PwC (PricewaterhouseCoopers) for more than 13 years in the Audit and Business Consulting areas at the firm’s offices in Mexico City, Guadalajara and Monterrey.

Armando Cruz has extensive experience as Manager and Director, leading fraud investigations in top-tier consulting firms across the Americas, primarily in Mexico, Colombia, Argentina and Brazil. He has conducted anti-bribery and corruption assessments, employee`s misconduct investigations, provided antitrust and competition investigative support for price fixing activities, intellectual property theft, contract compliance, and litigation, arbitration and dispute support (accounting and damages expert reports), third-party risk management, and management of ethics lines for numerous organizations (companies and non-governmental organizations) and industries. He has also served as the lead investigator for several clients in the pharmaceutical, logistics, mining, and telecommunications sectors.
Armando also worked as a financial auditor for international auditing firms (Big 4) and was an internal auditor with international responsibilities for large corporations in the United States. He has specialized training to conduct forensic interviews, forensic technology procedures, international arbitration, competition law, insolvency proceedings, negotiation, and U.S. corporate law. Armando is recognized as a leading fraud investigator in Mexico and Latin America and has participated as a speaker in events related to fraud prevention, forensic accounting, topics of general interest on anti-bribery efforts and anti-corruption.
Armando is an active member of the Accounting Expert’s Commission of the Colegio Mexicano de Contadores Publicos de Mexico (CCPM); member of the Instituto Mexicano de Finanzas (IMEF) where he participates as a member of the Ethics and Compliance, and Infrastructure Committees. He is also a member of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners and the Institute of Internal Auditors.
Armando workedas Manager and Director in the Forensics & Litigation support practices for EY, Control Risks and KPMG. He received a Bachelor`s degree in Accounting from the Instituto Politecnico Nacional (IPN) in Mexico. He has also completed Diplomas in Competition Economics, International Arbitration and Accounting Expert Witness. Armando is a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), and in in the process to obtain license as a local accounting expert in Mexico City, a native Spanish and English speaker and has elementary proficiency in Portuguese.
Riccardo Amatucci is with D.A.D. ADVISORY S.R.L in Italy. As part of his professional activity Riccardo has worked in PricewaterhouseCoopers since 2003 in the Governance, Risk & Compliance and Forensic groups and was a Senior Manager of PricewaterhouseCoopers Italia SpA.
In over 15 years of consulting Riccardo has gained significant experience in analyzing the internal control systems of Italian and foreign companies by carrying out projects for the definition of anti-corruption models, operating procedures and risk assessment.
Riccardo is a certified auditor enrolled in the Register of Auditors and a qualified expert in civil and criminal practice areas at different Judicial Offices of the Court of Rome. He holds several certifications, including Control Self-Assessment (CCSA) issued by "The Institute of Internal Auditors"; Risk Management Assurance (CRMA) issued by "The Institute of Internal Auditors" and Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) issued by the ACFE (Association of Certified Fraud Examiners).
He is member supervisory bodies pursuant to Legislative Decree 231/01 (Administrative liabilities of legal entities deriving from offences) of various companies, including foreign companies, operating in the oil & gas, financial, pharmaceutical, gaming and railway sectors.
He is an expert witness of investigated companies for internal controls matters as He has testified at the Court.
Furthermore, He participated in the working groups for the publication in Italian of the documents "Internal Control over Financial Reporting – Giudance for Smaller Public Companies " and "Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) " published by the Committee of Sponsoring Organizations of the Treadway Commission (COSO).
He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Università di Napoli Federico II and a Masters of Business Administration from SDOA. He is an Associate Member of the (ACFE) Association of Certified Fraud Examiners and AIA (The Institute of Internal Auditors).

Juliette Gust is the founder and president of Ethics Suite, a company that helps businesses identify, investigate and resolve alleged wrongdoing at their organization by providing a comprehensive solution for internal whistleblower reporting and tracking of workplace misconduct, fraud, or theft. Ethics Suite also provides expert support for internal investigations and ethics and compliance-related consulting services.
Ms. Gust has personally conducted or led more than 1,500 investigations spanning 75 countries and has advised on more than 10,000 employee ethics line reports. She developed and was the Director of the Fraud & Investigations team for a global hospitality company with 180,000 employees in more than 100 countries. She also served as the Project Manager and a core member of the company’s Anti-Corruption compliance program, leading the development of a best-in-class global anti-corruption risk assessment, audit plan, and third-party due diligence program.
Juliette's past experience includes providing advisory services to a diverse group of clients as a Manager and subject matter specialist within PwC’s Regulatory, Forensics, and Hospitality practices, where she led investigations and engagements in the U.S. and abroad on a variety of matters including anti-money laundering, anti-corruption and anti-bribery, embezzlement and financial statement fraud, and has presented findings and recommendations before executive boards, federal and state regulatory agencies and audit committees in response to regulatory enforcement actions. Prior to focusing on forensic accounting, Juliette spent 15 years in hospitality industry operations as an operations manager and general manager in high-volume hotels, casino hotels, convention centers and restaurants.
Juliette has been a Certified Fraud Examiner since 2007 and is fluent in Spanish.
